My name is Veronica de Saint Phalle, and I live in Johnson, Vermont, with my husband and two dogs—a Golden and a Lab.As a mother, grandmother, and now happily retired, I’ve found my calling as a self-taught artist inspired by the natural world around me.

I let my intuition guide each piece, allowing my subconscious to become the creative director. Whether working with brush and paint or exploring mixed media, I follow where the inspiration leads—there’s always one more piece meant to be created.My process often begins with photography, capturing moments in nature that I later translate onto canvas. Sometimes I combine multiple photographs into a single painting, using these images as stepping stones toward the vision in my mind.

I’m also passionate about tatting, the delicate art of knotted lace-making, which I incorporate into my work. The magical knots and connections in tatting mirror how I hope to connect with others through my art—sharing the beauty I rediscover daily in the world around me.
